Yeah I heard that too but in my case the HDD worked but diddnt spin up to speed the disk motor must of burned out.

There in a scrap heap now somewhere waiting to be made into nice cutlery.

Well its not exactly easy :) first of all you have to imagine the full scale of it (x,y and it was pretty damb huge) and then it was 100% symmetrical, In total there were about 9k blocks individually placed which took several days on and off.
