Guys (and girls), I'm going to be honest, I REALLY wish we had a completely official discord server for this game, I don't mean like a small community one made by fans for fans type of deal. Like I actually want it to be linked in the game, so we all have a place to go to, not just having to explore the forums to find one.

I mean, If I'm going to be straight with you, these forums suck. And I know that sounds a bit harsh but, be real for a second here, when someone post something, you would think "hey, just give it some time, someone will reply eventually" but for me that just gets tiresome, waiting maybe a day, 2 days, 3 days?? Or more, just to get one measly reply.. But seriously this community is small, incredibly small.

Not to mention the setup is confusing sometimes, I go to edit my own profile and it always ask for a log in, and then sends me to an error page (still have yet to edit my profile which sucks.) Aside from that, there isn't much variety here, just kinda.. Dull, not that much to be done.

Nonetheless, I have hope for the game, I think it can be a great community that can thrive, it just needs a better setup.. Which is why I think we should use discord as a main use instead of these forums, I know enderguy made that small community server (as seen below this topic probably) but it's small, and doesn't really have too much potential (as of yet.)

What I'm really saying is, we should use discord as a main means of communication for the community, as of yet it's still hard to communicate with anyone on these servers, and I feel like it might be a breathe of fresh air for us (in the community) to converse, suggest new ideas, improve on the game, and just overall grow as a community.

So to ian, I'm not sure you'll read this, or even if anyone will (considering I just kinda ranted on about stuff) but please take discord into consideration, it's a great service, and I feel like we could make this form of communication more better.

Unfortunately, I don't think there will be a set up on discord, it would be something nice but the thing with the idea is that it would be really difficult to moderate it and there would need to be staff to help moderate the discord. I wouldn't recommend joining any fan based discord servers to protect yourselves from getting your IP address leaked etc.
