Good day Ian! I am here to post important suggestions regarding to the improvements of WinterSun which is not just to benefit me but for the good of every players and of course to you

(please excuse my bad English as you read across, for English is only my second language)

So I am here to list down some important ideas which will be divided into 2 categories, "Must" and "Later" suggestions.

I might need to divide this post for I get error everytime I post this whole thing. I'll continue this on comment section.

We begin with "Must" updates and suggestion:

sorry fo the late update, I was busy doing school works the time I posted this and yes I seemed to forgot that I have a postponed topic :/

So for the must update:

- Update the Change log section on the forums for the previous updates more specific and not just on your facebook page.

Ex. Instead of saying "map updates and bug fixes", Better make it specific like "Added Atlantis, Removed Negazor, Fixed bugs on not seeing an item on the inventory" something like that. Also add the dates on every change log updates so we can check whats new rather than asking every players on the game about when was the update and what are the latest updates. This change log section in forums is one of the most important thing that we must check every time there is an update. It will server as our Bulletin board

This will benefit most for old and alpha players for checking what they have missed so far and what are the interesting things that would make them play the game again.

- I dont see the point on rating good or bad. There should be a reward for many negative rates as well as positive ones. Like if you get negative 30 (-30) rate you become a troll and being muted just like the old updates and if you get +30 you get a (friendly) suffix next to your name in chat box.

- The rate system can be abuse like I know some players got negative 50 rates from level 1 accounts being spammed from fake emails upon registration. To avoid this simply strict the rate system for level 20+ players.

- There should be moderators. We know you are not on 24 hours but if you put someone trusted to check the game then maybe you should. I know its hard to run this game solo then have some apprentice then. I would like to suggest the friend of yours from the game Mirage maybe? Or just simply migrate with him, I mean have some co workers in the game. If you cant trust it to some people then thats fine. I believe its good to have an app that you can say a masterpiece of your own but sometimes its also good to ask some help from people like in coding stuff (in case that they are more knowledgeable in certain stuff).

I noticed that you added sprites madee by someone? Thanks for accepting that simple help

The "Later" suggestion list:

- I suggest you add now the motivational part of the game which is rewarding for you.
Add now the donation option where we can buy the "Loyalty badge" Next on our name.
Or some unique hats? Unique glowing effects? That would be good as long as it wont affect our game stats to avoid pay to win. How about 1$ for appreciation badge, 5$ for rare costumes and 10$ for glowing effects? with extra gold star or medal? You get what I mean now here don't you Sir?

*We are not paying because of the rewards, remember it is very optional. The donation badge or costumes are just a collateral effect. The main point here is to add some motivation for you. As a psychology student I learned that gift giving and awards are motivational things for us humans

- Add now the mounts, or Horses. Maybe some gargoyle for Monsters, Dragons for Druids and Griffins for Protectorates? Something like that. You get what I mean. The speed update cause a lot of use to run slow so adding a mount will help us travel faster. Of course you cant ride a mount while fighting. Or maybe just add some stationary stable for horses to rest. Or cold down duration for to use.

- I have read some suggestions regarding raids and wars? Maybe Add those monthly or weekly event? Where there is a set time for those. Aside from battle caves and tournaments. Because war is very easy to organize on the system because all it needs is to set rules about base point, starting point and announcing about the winners. Or just set your own unique rules 😀

*If any of the suggestions was implemented, I will cross it out ASAP.

Ian the game was almost like 6 or 5 years (correct me if I am wrong) and I am about to finish college 1 year from now. The old players are indeed getting old (even myself) and the game is fading because there are no things that motivates the players to play and stay. yes the game is good at first but it gets boring later on.

The only thing that made players to stay and play is because of the curiosity. Curiosity in a sense that if they are new they are excited to venture off anywhere and discover places. Curiosity because we just like to see the new updates if it is something interesting or motivational. But after a while, after discovering all the maps and after knowing the updates it gets boring afterwards. Its like there is nothing left to do aside from helping newbies and encouraging them to stay and play (Which most of the alphas and old players did before) there is no fun anymore. MMO = Massive Multiplayer Online . The wintersun is lacking the team bonding. There is no party ( Only clan which is just a label and no use for now) for people to bond with. There is almost no team work aside from training together. As far as I have observe all we do is solo training which is boring (It feels lonely too).

Again please focus on the "Must" suggestion list first rather than the "Later" because I have weighted already the good effects of this updates.
